In more recent years the idea of manifesting your desires into reality has become a more and more popular topic. In simple terms, manifestation means having the ability to will your desires into reality through your thoughts and beliefs. Unlike other fads or trends, manifestation is real and is constantly working in your life. Whether you know it or not, you have been manifesting the good and bad parts of your life for as long as you can remember.
Didn’t get the job you wanted? Broke up with your partner? Found the love of your life? Everything in your life has occurred because you manifested it in some way or another. What a great thing to know that you have 100% control over your life and your future!? I know this idea of attracting good and bad into your life can come with a sense of guilt, but do not get swallowed up in a storm of self-pity. Instead, realize changing your mindset is a difficult task and will take practice, but is so worth it! None of us are perfect and no one can manifest a perfect life, but we can control how we handle good and bad situations and how we shift our mindsets to the positive.
One way to begin practicing the power of manifestation is to choose how to react to a negative situation in your life. You must think that even if some things may not seem like they are in your favour, they always are!
For example, you are on your way to an important work meeting and your tire pops!… You get angry and wonder why this is happening to you. Wait one second! Stop that thought right in its track….Instead you could think of all the terrible things the universe was saving you from by giving you a flat tire. In every negative situation, find a way to shift your mindset and find something to be grateful for. We never know what the future would have held for us if we weren’t in that exact situation, in that exact moment, so choose to be grateful even if it means making hypothetical scenarios that may have happened.
So now you may think, “Ok, I’m ready to start manifesting and making my desires come true. I need results by tomorrow.” Woah… hold on! Remember manifesting is about allowing what is right for you to come into your life without stopping your own luck. You may think you want a new car tomorrow, but maybe getting a new car tomorrow is not the best outcome for your future. Instead of being upset with the universe, be hopeful that better things are coming and everything will happen in divine timing.
Now that we know to be patient and allow what is for us to come to us with open arms. We now need to consider specific steps to take to increase our desired results and help make permanent changes in our life. First things first, you must believe in yourself! More than just saying it you need to feel you are capable and worthy of great things. You can practice this belief in yourself by using a journal and according to your capabilities, you can talk to yourself in the mirror as if you were encouraging a friend of yours, and you may need to complete training, a course, or some other actions to make you feel more confident in your abilities. Do not wait for someone to pace this self-belief into you! You need to take responsibility to believe in yourself!
Visualization is also another important aspect of manifestation and creating the life you desire! Spend 10 minutes every morning and 10 minutes every night purposefully visualizing that aspects in your life you want to change or enhance. Visualize in detail, take note of how you feel. You should feel good while visualizing your dreams! If you do not feel positive feelings while visualizing, that means you are thinking of the lack of your dreams coming true, rather than the abundance of your dreams. Switch your mindset to think of the positive feelings you will have once you have reached these goals.
Now you have the tools to manifest the life you want! Go put them into action and no one will be able to get in your way!
